Effective Ayurveda remedy for Cough, Bronchitis, Asthma - Vyaghryadi Kashayam

Vyaghryadi Kashayam is one among many herbal remedies available for effectively combating Cough, Bronchitis and asthma. It is a unique combination of disease-alleviating, disease-modifying and immune-modulating herbs.

Ingredients:

Vyaghri: Solanum xanthocarpum –  It is a very ideal herb used as a remedy for disorders affecting voice. Sore Throat is one of the main complaints in respiratory ailments. It is also individually prescribed in cough, wheeze, bronchitis, asthma, flu and common cold

Shunthi: Zingiber officinaleGinger is an effective herb used in cough, cold, wheeze, voice disorders and asthma. It effectively alleviates Vayu and Kapha which are often responsile for respiratory disorders. It also rectifies the metabolic disturbances which are at many times responsible for many disorders as per Ayurveda

Amrita: Tinospora cordifolia – It is the best medicine for correcting metabolic disorders. It effectively combats vitiated Pitta. Since Pitta is mainly involved in the inflammatory process, it is effective in Bronchitis (acute and chronic). Amrita is also a good Rasayana i.e. the best immune-modulator (and so is Pippali).

Pippali: Piper longumLong Pepper or Dried catkins, alleviates Kapha and Vayu thus removing the blocks created by them. Thus it helps to make breathing easy. It also corrects metabolism and relieves one of cough, cold and dyspnoea. Pippali like Amrita is also the best Rasayana (immune-modulator).

Thus the formulation VYAGHRYADI KASHAYAM forms an effective combination for cough, bronchitis, asthma, sore throat and voice disorders
